This time of year, when we turn from Giving Thanks for our blessings, to sharing them with others, it is well to separate the things that mean the most to us. The world is certainly filled with lots of glitter. Some of it is real and some of it is only comes in a thinly disguised bottle of Fool’s Gold. At Seal Rock, we love to reflect on the “real glitter”  of a golden sunset over Hyannisport Harbor, the diamonds of light on the water during a bright summer’s day, or the glowing flicker of a warm, cozy fire on a chilly Cape Cod winter’s evening. All of this includes the wonderful memories of family and friends that have gathered at Seal Rock over the years, both ours and all of the owners before us. Some of the illustrious guests that have come and gone have left their glittering friendship in our home. The echo of laughter, the clink of china on the patio, the jingle of a welcoming ring at the doorbell; nothing the world can produce could ever replace these “glittering” memories.
